The Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition organised annually with competing countries casting votes for the other countries' songs to determine a winner. Eurovision has been held every year since 1956, with the exception of the cancelled 2020 edition, making it the longest-running annual international televised music competition.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place in Rotterdam. The Dutch city was due to host the Contest in 2020 before the event was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Semi-Finals will take place on 18 and 20 May 2021. The Grand Final takes place on 22 May 2021

Eurovision Betting Odds

When the competition takes place the Eurovision song contest bookies offer UK punters the obvious Eurovision betting markets such as betting on the winner, (and in most recent years there has been a clear bookies favourite) or who will come last. Some online betting bookmakers offer more exotic odds such as will anyone get 0 points, you can bet on which countries will get more than 100 points, you can bet who will come in the top 3 places as well as a number of other proposition bets which changes year by year. In recent years Eurovision has become so popular there is a need for Semi-Final round to be held before the Finals to narrow the field.

Some Nations, such as the UK, are always in the Finals, but the Semi-Final round allows another period of Eurovision betting whilst the Eurovision Bookies provide new markets and odds for those "Mini Eurovisions". Because of the "fun" nature of Eurovision, we should warn you that the bookies' odds are not always very generous and have a relatively high margin.

It appears to be a two horse race this year with Italy and France leading the market each with odds just under 3/1, but Malta is also in the running at around 6/1 and definitely should not be ruled out!
