Crazy Digginz: Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
In the base game, Crazy Digginz looks like a dark mine shaft, where rough walls are lit by scattered crystals, and a small canary on a perch watches as we pull the lever. Tools, stone runes, and bright crystals alternate chaotically on the screen, all suspended on thick ropes, creating the feeling of a handmade slot inside a cave. The left side is occupied by portraits of deranged gnomes, who can jump into the action at any moment.
During free spins, the background changes abruptly to a purple tunnel packed with minerals. The colours become brighter, and special symbols literally jump between the reels. The feeling is that the mine has started to live its own life and is only pretending to let us play.
🎶 Sound
In the base game, a calm melody plays, built from light knocks and taps reminiscent of a working mine. It is mixed with the clicking of tools and the occasional chirping of the canary visible on the screen. A faint electronic rhythm can be heard in the background, adding a sense of a moving mechanism. During free spins, the music thickens and becomes noticeably more tense, as if the mine is preparing to explode and is about to burst at the seams.

Special Symbols
To understand how to play Crazy Digginz, it is important to keep in mind that the slot is built around three special wilds. They do not simply substitute symbols, but interfere with the layout in different ways and can dramatically change the final win.
A separate mention goes to Crazy Mode, which activates randomly and temporarily enhances the abilities of all gnomes. At this point, they appear more frequently on the grid and affect a much larger number of symbols, making spins noticeably more “explosive” and capable of turning into big payouts right before your eyes.
- Wild (mine cart with crystals): appears on reels 2–4, substitutes for regular symbols except the scatter and special wilds, and does not pay on its own.
- Scatter (barrel with a fuse): triggers free spins and determines how many gnomes will be active in the bonus game.
- Allmine (with a yellow helmet): collects values from top symbols adjacent to it. Each such symbol adds x1 if it has no multiplier. If a symbol already carries a multiplier such as x2 or x3, Allmine simply adds that value to the total. All collected values are combined into one large multiplier, which is applied only to the winning line where the Allmine itself appears.
- Flint (ginger gnome with dynamite): spreads multipliers across different positions on the reels, affecting multiple symbols at once.
- Morpho (upgrader gnome with blue elements): upgrades low and medium symbols, transforming them into premium crystals.
Bonus Game
Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters triggers free spins. The number of spins is determined randomly, up to a maximum of 12. The number of scatters defines the set of active special wilds:
- 3 — Allmine
- 4 — Allmine and Flint
- 5 — Allmine, Flint, and Morpho
During the bonus, all special wilds become Jumping Wilds and jump between reels 2–4 on every spin. The Allmine multiplier is retained throughout the entire bonus and can grow to a very significant size. Three scatters award an additional 5 free spins and can unlock special wilds that were not active at the start.
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
According to official data, the slot has several RTP versions: 96.02%, 94.14%, 92.10%, and 86.79%. Volatility is stated as very high, which is immediately noticeable. The maximum win is x68,000 of the stake; reaching this cap ends the current bonus round.
Our Verdict
Crazy Digginz feels like a slot that simply cannot restrain itself. You start a spin expecting nothing to happen, and a second later, half the screen is covered in multipliers, the other half has turned into crystals, and gnomes are jumping all over each other. The base game can be harsh, but free spins with Jumping Wilds can explode so hard that even a calm player starts to feel tense.
This slot is clearly not for those who prefer a steady pace, but it is an excellent choice for players who crave chaos and unpredictability.
If you want something in a similar vein, try Money Mines, where the explosions hide some fairly clever maths and value-collection chains. And if you are drawn to heavier artillery, Fire in the Hole 2 will suit players who enjoy risk, cascades, and the raw power of multipliers.
