Pirots 2: Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
The base game shows a greenish lagoon hidden in thick vegetation, a hanging bridge in the distance and the same cheeky birds we already know. The playing area isn’t made of reels but a scatter of stones and artefacts drifting downwards after collections. Occasionally, the “red button” flashes and, at the end of a round, a meteor drops from the sky, the grid expands, and the birds scatter in all directions. In the bonus round, this whole ecosystem becomes denser and brighter, amber levels grow faster, and the field more often reaches its maximum size of 8×8.
🎶 Sound
In the base game, gentle music with soft piano plays. In the background, you hear distant dinosaur calls and bird chirps, giving a sense of steady jungle routine. In the bonus round, the rhythm speeds up but stays “family-friendly”, without aggression. The sound effects are familiar to anyone who played the first instalment: the click of collections, the dull thud of a redrop, the pop of the button before the meteor. Altogether, it creates the tone of a light adventure rather than a thriller.

In Pirots 2, there are no paylines or clusters in the usual sense. The birds move horizontally or vertically and collect “their” ambers plus any special symbols. They move in order of value — from the highest-paying bird to the lowest. If two birds stand next to each other in a straight line, they “fight” and sweep away bonuses in their path; afterwards, the grid refills and collections continue as long as there is anything left to collect. If two birds stand side by side, they may also swap positions (when there is something to collect).
Winning Combinations
Before playing Pirots 2, review the payouts in this slot. Here, combinations do not pay — each collected symbol pays according to its current level. Each colour of amber has seven payout levels.

Special Symbols
- Wild (gold letter W): substitutes any amber at its current payout level. Does not pay on its own.
- Coin & Max Win Coin: instantly pay their stated multiplier of the bet. Values: x5, x10, x25, x50, x100, x500, x1000. The Max Win coin immediately tops up the win to the cap.
- Upgrade (pale mushroom): increases payout levels of same-coloured ambers by 1–3 steps, up to a maximum of level 7.
- Upgrade All (rainbow mushroom): increases payout levels of all four colours by 1–3 steps, up to 7.
- Red Button “Don’t Press”: accumulates and triggers a meteor at the end of the round, blowing up part of the grid and expanding it by +1 row and +1 column, followed by a redrop.
- Egg: after all collections finish, a dinosaur hatches, frightening the birds so they jump to new positions, and the grid refills.
- Transform Mushroom: converts a cluster next to a bird into that bird’s colour. It may also convert some ambers into special symbols.
- Popcorn Pop: fills empty cells with popcorn and grants each bird one pass through empty space to reach its next targets.
- Collection Meter (bar above the grid): counts only ambers and wilds. When full, it adds up to three “pending releases”. Releases trigger in batches and transform three ambers into random special symbols — before an egg hatches, before the meteor, on the first drop of the bonus, or when there is nothing left to collect.
Bonus Game
- Triggered by collecting three scatters within a single round.
- You start on the current grid size, with saved amber levels and current collection-meter progress.
- Awarded 5 free drops. Three scatters in the bonus add another 5.
- If the collection meter is already full when the bonus begins, it triggers immediately — three ambers turn into special symbols in the first free drop.
- The bonus ends when drops run out or the win cap is reached.
RTP, Volatility, Maximum Win
The official RTP is 94% and remains constant in X-iter modes. Volatility is high, and long “empty” stretches are completely normal. The win cap is x10,000 the stake. When the cap is reached, the round forcibly ends, and the game pays exactly that maximum.
Our Verdict
Pirots 2 is one of those rare collectors where the characters feel alive and create their own narrative without spins. The logic is clear: birds move towards the most valuable targets and pick up useful items on the way. The red button provides the most memorable moments, finishing the grid and pushing it towards 8×8. Coins up to x500 and x1000 add excitement, though they are rare — patience helps. The bonus is appealing because it keeps progress and can suddenly escalate with a retrigger.
If you enjoy controlled chaos and rising potential from upgrades, the slot will suit you. If you need a predictable line-based flow, it’s better to skip.
Try other slots in this series:
- Pirots — the original, with a gentler tempo and the same CollectR. Ideal for those who want to ease into the mechanics with fewer effects.
- Pirots 3 — a sequel with even more aggressive grid expansion and frequent symbol interactions. Recommended if you want more dynamism and more regular max-grid moments.
