Pyramyth: Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
In the base game, we’re greeted by a vibrant city of the future disguised as “techno Egypt”. White pyramids gleam in the sun, giant statues with neon inlays seem to scan the grid, and the entire layout feels like a museum display — only refurbished for a cyber pharaoh.
When the bonus begins, the lights dim and the background shifts into purple neon. The golden reel frames contrast with dark stone tiles, and everything starts to glow, as if we’ve moved from a sunny resort into an underground techno temple. There are no harsh transitions — just a smooth change in mood, but the difference is felt instantly.
🎶 Sound
The soundtrack uses Eastern motifs with restraint. Flutes and percussion sit alongside synthetic effects that emphasise the futuristic setting. Everything sounds clean and noise-free, as if the audio has been run through a polishing filter. In the bonus rounds, the tone deepens, and during respins, you hear short electronic “clicks” that help drive the pace.

Special Symbols
- Wild (golden scarab): substitutes for any symbols except the scatter. Pays on its own as the top symbol — x75 for five on a line. Applies a multiplier to the winning line depending on the number of wilds: x2, x4, x8, x16 or x32.
- Scatter (glowing Bonus orb): independent of paylines, can land anywhere and triggers the bonus game. Does not pay on its own but determines the number of free spins.
Bonus Game
Pyramyth has a single bonus mode, but it is fairly layered:
- Trigger: 3 scatters award 10 free spins, 4 award 15 FS, 5 award 20 FS.
- Sticky Respin: Any winning line in the bonus becomes locked. All remaining positions respin. If the combination improves, the process continues. When no further additions are possible, the respin sequence ends.
- Roaming Wilds: All wilds that land in the bonus become “roaming”. Before each new spin, they move to another free position. Up to five roaming wilds can be present during the bonus.
- Retrigger: If three scatters are collected within a single free spin (including respins), 5 additional spins are awarded.
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
The RTP in Pyramyth is 96.17%. Volatility is high. The maximum win is x10,000.
Our Verdict
Pyramyth is one of those slots that looks friendly but plays like a predator. Wilds can boost a line up to x32, but landing them takes patience, and respins can lead to long dry stretches. The bonus feels more energetic, especially when several roaming wilds appear and keep changing positions, opening up chances to complete lines.
If you enjoy hunting big multipliers and slots that can suddenly switch on, this is a strong pick. If you prefer steady returns, Pyramyth may feel harsh.
For a similar experience, try Jewel Scarabs, which also features roaming wilds with gradually growing multipliers and a slightly smoother rhythm. Or consider Blaze of Ra, which leans more towards frequent bonuses and predictable patterns, while keeping the Egyptian theme and offering a greater sense of control over the reels.
