Special Symbols
- Scatter (Thor’s Hammer): appears on the regular reels; in the base game, 3 scatters trigger 8 free spins; in the bonus game, the scatter appears only on reel 3 and awards +2 FS while also increasing the grid height by +1 (up to 7 rows).
- Wild (only in free spins): appears on the left Hot Spot and adapts to the symbol shown on the right Hot Spot, helping to trigger a Land & Expand Re-Spin. There is no wild in the base game.
- Hot Spot Reels: these are two single-symbol windows on each side of the reels that display symbols. They do not contribute directly to payouts but act as a key to an additional mechanic:
- If both Hot Spots show the same symbol, and that symbol also appears on at least two main reels, a re-spin is triggered.
- During this re-spin, all involved symbols expand to cover the entire reel and are fixed in place.
- After the re-spin, the win is calculated, and the symbols return to their normal state.
Bonus Game
- The bonus is activated by scatters.
- Inside the bonus, the scatter appears only on reel 3. Each scatter awards +2 free spins.
- At the same time as adding free spins, the grid increases by one row upwards or downwards (alternating) until the height reaches 7 rows.
- When the height increases, the number of paylines grows — up to a maximum of 29.
- A wild may appear on the left Hot Spot, automatically copying the symbol on the right Hot Spot, making it easier to trigger re-spins.
- In free spins, both premium and low symbols can appear on the Hot Spots (unlike in the base game).
- There is no limit to the number of free spins: retriggers can repeat without restrictions.

Riches of Midgard feels more like a “light lunch-break slot” — bright, cartoony and easy to understand. Within a couple of dozen spins, you can grasp all its nuances: the Hot Spot triggers transparently, and the expanding grid in the free spins creates a sense of growth and movement. On the other hand, the x435 win cap clearly indicates that this is not a game for hunting epic multipliers. It suits players who want a short, straightforward session without risking endless dry stretches.
