Stars of Orion looks like a living planetary chart — behind the grid, you can make out stone arches reminiscent of Stonehenge, while the sky shimmers with cold stars. Each fall of symbols leaves a trail of light, as if they truly descend from orbit. In the bonus game, the screen flashes with the outline of the Orion constellation, and the grid seems to come alive under the breath of outer space. The colours are vivid but never harsh: the stones glow from within, and the wilds are highlighted with a white halo, giving the visual rhythm of the game an almost hypnotic quality.
🎶 Sound
A cosmic rock-style instrumental track plays in the background, sometimes muted, sometimes suddenly gaining volume. It creates a sense of motion, as though we’re drifting among the stars. In the bonus round, the music becomes richer and more powerful, adding an epic tone — as if Orion himself is heading into the hunt.

Special Symbols
To understand how to play Stars of Orion, it’s important to note that the slot isn’t limited to basic clusters — almost every spin can trigger auxiliary features. The game is literally built on a chain reaction of symbols and progression of the meter:
- Wild (golden W with a halo): substitutes for any symbols except the bonus. Can appear in any drop and helps form winning clusters.
- Super Symbol (enlarged symbol with highlight): when it appears, it merges with adjacent winning elements, creating one large cluster. This boosts the overall win and helps activate higher levels of the meter.
- Bonus (gold letter B): needed to trigger the prize drops. Three such symbols activate the bonus game.
- Super Bonus (red letter B): serves the same purpose but triggers an enhanced round with an increased chance of Super Symbols.
- Magic Meter (meter on the right): fills with each win, unlocking multiplier levels — x2, x4, x8, x16, x32 and x64. When fully charged, it may also activate additional effects, including wilds or symbol replacement. In the base game, it resets after the cascade, while in the bonus, it persists between drops.
- Orion’s Wilds (constellation of wilds): a special feature where a pattern of wilds appears on the grid in the shape of the Orion constellation. It triggers upon reaching certain levels of the Magic Meter.
- Symbol Swap: swaps neighbouring elements to form a new winning cluster or extend an existing one. May trigger randomly after a sequence of wins.
Bonus Game
- Free Drops: activated when three Bonus symbols land. The player receives 10 prize drops, during which the cascading mechanic remains active. Each winning reaction fills the Magic Meter, and multiplier levels increase in the same order as in the base game. The difference is that in the bonus, meter progress does not reset between drops, preserving the achieved multiplier level and activated features.
- Super Bonus: triggered by three Super Bonus symbols. Here, the frequency of Super Symbols is noticeably higher, making clusters larger and explosions more profitable. Everything else works the same, but the dynamics feel faster and more powerful.
RTP, Volatility, Maximum Win
RTP — 95%. Volatility is high. The maximum win is capped at x10,000 times the stake.
Our Verdict
Stars of Orion feels like a laboratory of randomness — the slot sometimes ramps up the meter generously, other times it gives several spins in a row with no reaction at all. Visually and dynamically, this is one of the most vibrant cluster slots from ELK Studios: wins form literally out of chaos. In demo mode, it shows great energy, but it demands patience — the real potential opens only during long cascade sequences.
