Design And Theme
🖼️ Graphics
Treasure of the Pyramids looks like it was found in an old flash drive—pixels with soul. Golden frames, hieroglyphs, and pharaohs against a backdrop of dunes are reminiscent of a time when slots still clicked on modems rather than reels. The symbols are simple: Cleopatra, the Eye of Ra, the bird Horus, statuettes, and card values, neatly embedded in stone slabs.
🎶 Sound
Underneath runs a steady valve-like hum, layered with a looping “Egyptian library” melody. Win and bonus cues sound deliberately gritty and sharp; compared with the bed track, they hit very loud. After a few dozen spins, you’ll likely mute it.

Special Symbols
- Wild (Eye): substitutes for all symbols except Scatter. If several Wilds land on a line, the game auto-selects the highest paying outcome. Wild has no standalone pay.
- Scatter (scarab): three or more trigger the pick bonus. Scatter also pays anywhere: three scarabs and five scarabs award x6 and x12 of the total bet, respectively.
- Pyramids: the top pay symbol and the main source of bigger line wins. Line pays scale with count: 2 pyramids — x0.32 total bet; 3 — x3.6; 4 — x11; 5 — x40.
Bonus Game
- Triggered by Scatters.
- A pick screen with three artefacts appears. Pick one to receive a random cash prize.
- The more Scatters that triggered the bonus, the higher the value of the selected prize can be.
- All winnings in the bonus are calculated based on the current bet and are immediately added to the balance.
- It is not possible to restart the bonus during the selection process; you must wait for a new round.
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
The RTP for Treasure of the Pyramids is 96.22%, and the game card indicates medium volatility. The maximum win (in theory) is x1000 of the total bet. Five pyramids on an active line pay 1,000 coins per line; there are 25 lines in the game. If the screen is filled with Pyramids/Wilds, we get 25 lines of 1,000 coins = 25,000 coins. We divide this by the total bet (25 lines) — the result is x1,000.
Our Verdict
Treasure of the Pyramids feels like an artefact in both theme and age. It’s old-school and straight to the point: no free spins or cascades, just clear line maths and a simple flow. The pick bonus adds a small hit of suspense, though it does get samey fast
In testing, the game moved at its own pace: a bit slow, with pauses between spins, as if in no rush to reveal the stash. Fans of retro rules and minimalism may vibe with it. Others will likely bail after twenty spins in search of something newer.
If you prefer something simpler with a sense of progression in the bonus, try Big Bass Bonanza. And if you want more dynamics, Sky Bounty offers expanding Wilds that can grow up to 6x6.
