Bournemouth vs Everton: prediction & betting odds 2 December 2025

The Matchday 14 clash in the Premier League between Bournemouth and Everton will take place on December 2 at the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth vs. Everton: prediction and betting odds, statistics.

Bournemouth

Andoni Iraola's side has been unable to win in their last four matches, losing three and drawing one. In all these games, at least four goals were scored, but this hasn't helped Bournemouth, as they have dropped from the Champions League zone to the middle of the table. They had a chance to win in the last round but lost 2-3 away to Sunderland. Interestingly, the team was leading 2-0 by the 15th minute but couldn't maintain the advantage. On average, their matches see 3.4 goals, the highest in the league.

  • The team has not lost in 9 of their last 12 Premier League matches (5 wins, 4 draws).
  • At least 3 goals have been scored in 7 of Bournemouth's last 8 league games.
  • Both teams have scored in 6 of Bournemouth's last 8 Premier League matches.

Predicted lineup for Bournemouth (4-3-3)

Djorde Petrovic – Bafode Diakite, Marcos Senesi, Adrien Truffert, Adam Smith – Tyler Adams, Alex Scott, Marcus Tavernier – Amine Adli, Antoine Semenyo, Evanilson.

Forward Ben Doak and midfielder Ryan Christie are out due to injury. Midfielders David Brooks and Lewis Cook, as well as defender Marcos Senesi, are suspended.

Everton

In their last match, Everton suffered a surprising heavy defeat at home to Newcastle, who had not won away in the Premier League before (1-4). David Moyes' side completely collapsed in the first half, conceding three unanswered goals. Before this, the team was unbeaten in three consecutive league matches (2 wins, 1 draw). This was only the second time in the tournament that Everton conceded more than two goals. They currently sit 14th in the table, with a comfortable 7-point cushion from the relegation zone.

  • The team has not won in 7 of their last 10 Premier League matches (3 draws, 4 losses).
  • Exactly two or three goals have been scored in 7 of Everton's last 9 league games.
  • Everton has conceded no more than 1 goal in 15 of their last 18 away league matches.

Predicted lineup for Everton (4-2-3-1)

Jordan Pickford – Michael Keane, James Tarkowski, Jake O'Brien, Vitaliy Mykolenko – Jack Grealish, Tim Iroegbunam – Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jack Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye – Thierno Barry.

Defenders Jarred Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson are out due to injury. Midfielder Idrissa Gueye is suspended for two more matches.

Bournemouth vs. Everton: Match Prediction

Recently, Andoni Iraola's side was competing for a Champions League spot, but after four unsuccessful matches, they find themselves mid-table. However, in the first half of the season, the standings are so tight that winning 2-3 games could see them back in the top four. I believe Bournemouth can score two or three goals in this match, as they have not lost at home in this Premier League campaign and consistently find the net on their turf.

The visitors won't be left without goals either. Everton also has a good chance to compete for European positions this season, trailing their opponent by just one point. Everton has scored in 4 of their last 5 away Premier League matches. Additionally, at least 3 goals have been scored in 10 of the last 13 head-to-head encounters in the Premier League. I also note that Everton has a chance to score several goals, as the hosts will be weakened by the suspension of three players.

My prediction: Total over 2.5 goals

Betting tips 2 December 2025

Bournemouth are slipping further and further down the standings. They are already 11th, and Everton, whom they face this Tuesday, are just one point behind them.

As recently as late October, after matchday nine, Bournemouth were second; only Arsenal were ahead of them. Since then it is as if they have been replaced: three defeats and one draw. The first two dropped points are understandable: they played away to serious Champions League contenders Manchester City (1:3) and Aston Villa (0:4), although the scorelines were still heavy. But a home draw with West Ham United (2:2)? Bournemouth even had to come back from 0:2. Then came an away trip to Sunderland, and that was another problem: they went 2:0 up inside the first quarter of an hour but still failed to take even a point (2:3).

Everton’s unbeaten run, which included two wins with clean sheets and a low-scoring draw, suddenly ended at home with a heavy defeat to Newcastle United (1:4). The issue was not the fact of the loss, but its humiliating margin. Everything was decided before half-time, when the opposition scored three unanswered goals. It is not that Jordan Pickford failed to make saves: he produced a couple of spectacular stops, but the defence clearly did not help him. According to xGA, Everton were expected to score roughly half that amount, with Everton conceding 1.91 xGA.

Bournemouth’s recent results have been influenced partly by the fixture list, but there are also clear shortcomings. Everton can also be opened up easily, especially down their left flank. With this in mind, we expect a high-scoring match driven by defensive errors.
