Inter Milan vs Torino: prediction & betting odds 4 February 2026

The Coppa Italia quarter-final match between Inter Milan and Torino will take place on 4 february at the Brianteo stadium in Monza. Inter Milan vs Torino: prediction, betting odds and statistics.

Inter Milan

Inter Milan began the tournament confidently, routing Venezia 5:1 in the previous round. Note that prior to that the team had not scored more than two goals across 11 consecutive matches in the national cup. However, the team conceded in a third consecutive match in this tournament, something that had not happened since the 2020/21 season. Add that the team reached the quarter-finals for the 23rd time in a row, and on six occasions went on to win the competition.

  • No more than three goals were scored in 10 of Inter Milan's last 11 Coppa Italia matches.
  • Inter Milan won 5 of their last 7 home matches in this tournament (1 draw, 1 defeat).
  • Inter Milan kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 home matches in the national cup.

Potential Inter Milan Lineup (3-5-2)*

Josep Martínez – Stefan de Vrij, Yann Bisseck, Carlos Augusto – Luis Enrique, Petar Sucic, Piotr Zielinski, Davide Frattesi, Andy Diouf – Francesco Esposito, Marcus Thuram.

Defender Denzel Dumfries, as well as midfielders Nicolò Barella and Hakan Çalhanoğlu, will miss the match due to injuries.

Torino

Torino will make their fourth match in the current edition of the tournament. In the previous stage Torino beat Roma 3:2 away. The goals conceded were the first in Coppa Italia-2025/26 for the team, while the club's scoring run reached eight matches, and the team has not scored more than two goals since October 2022. Torino reached the quarter-finals for the second time in the last six seasons, but has not been able to progress past this stage in that period.

  • Torino did not concede more than one goal in 5 of their last 7 national cup matches.
  • On the road in this tournament the team failed to win in 6 of their last 7 matches (3 draws, 3 defeats).
  • Torino failed to score against Inter Milan in 6 of the last 7 head-to-head Serie A meetings.

Potential Torino Lineup (3-5-2)*

Alberto Paleari – Ardian Ismajli, Adrian Tamez, Saúl Coco – Valentino Lazaro, Gvidas

Gineitis, Nikola Vlašić, Zakaria Aboukhlal, Emirhan Ilkhan – Che Adams, Giovanni Simeone.

Defender Perr Schuurs, as well as midfielder Ivan Ilić, will miss the match due to injuries.

Inter Milan vs Torino: Match Prediction

Torino produced a major shock in the previous round by beating a top-four Serie A representative. We have little faith in another unexpected result from the visiting team. The win over the Romans was the first in the last 7 away Coppa Italia matches (3 draws, 3 defeats). Overall the visiting team is in poor form, having lost 4 of their last 5 official matches, and in all of those games the club conceded at least twice.

Inter Milan rarely go without victories at home in the Coppa Italia. The team won 5 of their last 7 home matches in this tournament (1 draw, 1 defeat). In the previous round Inter Milan achieved a rout of their opponent, despite Cristian Chivu resorting to rotation. It was difficult to expect another result from the highest-scoring team in the current championship.

Add that Inter Milan beat Torino in the last seven head-to-head Serie A meetings, and in five of the previous encounters scored at least two goals. This is another factor in favor of the prediction.

Prediction: Inter Milan To Win And Inter Milan Over 1.5 Goals

* The starting lineup listed for each team is from its previous match in this tournament.

Betting tips 4 February 2026

Inter Milan are in excellent form, having recorded eight wins in their last 10 matches. Torino can only dream of such a run – they are clearly likely to struggle at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Despite injuries ruling out Nicolò Barella, Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Denzel Dumfries, Inter Milan have been able to rely on high‑quality back‑ups. Since 28 December, the hosts have won eight matches, scoring at least twice in five of them, and only failing to win against Napoli (2:2) in the Serie A and Arsenal (1:3) in the UEFA Champions League. In the previous round of the Coppa Italia, Cristian Chivu’s team comfortably thrashed Venezia 5:1 – Marcus Thuram scored twice, while motivated substitutes Andy Diouf, Francesco Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny added a goal each.

Before the win over Lecce (1:0), Torino had not won in the Serie A since the beginning of January, and even then they only beat a very weak Venezia (3:0). The side have the fourth-worst xG in away league matches (12.71 in 11 matches). Their most recent away fixture was a complete failure for Marco Baroni’s side – they suffered a heavy 0:6 defeat to Como 1907.

At the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Inter Milan regularly dominate Torino: The hosts have beaten them in seven consecutive home matches, scoring a total of 19 goals in that sequence. They also dismantled the visitors’ defence in the first half of the current Serie A season (5:0), so we are backing them on the handicap here.
