AS Roma vs Torino: prediction & betting odds 13 January 2026
Betting tips 13 January 2026
A week before the UEFA Europa League resumes, AS Roma will put Torino to the test at the Stadio Olimpico in the Coppa Italia. Gian Piero Gasperini's team have a good chance of reaching the next round: they have looked weak in recent rounds of the Serie A, but the favourites are unlikely to take any risks.
All three of AS Roma's matches in 2026 have been low-scoring. After a disastrous trip to Bergamo to face Atalanta (0:1), they shut out Lecce and Sassuolo (both 2:0), conceding a total of 1.46 xGA in those games. Since the end of October, the hosts have recorded six wins in seven home matches; the only exception was the game against then Serie A leaders Napoli (0:1). Across 20 league rounds, the team have gone over 2.5 goals only five times.
Torino have been much more prolific (12 matches in the Serie A with 3+ goals), but that applies mainly to their home games. Away from home, they have collected only 12 points from 10 Serie A fixtures, and their latest trip to Atalanta (0:2) yielded only 0.95 xG. The squad are counting on the talent of Nikola Vlašić, but the former CSKA Moscow player has not produced a single goal contribution in 270 minutes in 2026.
AS Roma will certainly be wary of Torino, as they inflicted the hosts' first defeat of the season, doing so at the Stadio Olimpico in September (0:1). We expect the cup tie to follow a similar low-scoring pattern.
