McGregor held talks with Crawford about potential MMA fight

Irish UFC fighter Conor McGregor, known for competing in both lightweight and welterweight divisions, revealed that he has been in talks with undefeated American boxer Terence Crawford about organizing a crossover bout in both MMA and boxing.

"Crawford is very agile, and he also has a wrestling background. You know, they always talk to me about fights. I had one with Floyd [Mayweather] in boxing, so I’m the best boxer in MMA. We discussed a two-fight deal with Terence," McGregor said.

"Turki Al-Sheikh called him right in front of me the day after his last fight. I picked up the phone and said, 'Crawford, they're talking about us having a fight. A two-fight deal — first in MMA, then in boxing.' Crawford responded, 'I don't like getting hit by McGregor.' That’s what he said," McGregor was quoted as saying by Low Kick MMA.

McGregor has had 28 career fights, winning 22 and losing six.
