Wade Out has won both of his starts this season. Last time he landed a Novices’ Chase, a Listed contest at Cheltenham, over 3m1f, underlining his stamina.
Doyen Quest and Laurens Bay met in the Esher Novices’ Chase, a Grade 2, on their latest outing, finishing second and third respectively. Both have already scored over three miles, though Doyen Quest appears to hold a slight edge on form.
The Jukebox Kid failed to justify favouritism last time when finishing fourth. Even so, the trip should not pose a problem and he is capable of making this competitive.
Hollygrove Cha Cha is the only mare in the line-up. She won a Mares’ Novices’ Chase on her latest start, having previously finished third in the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase, a Listed race, beaten by less than three lengths.
