The key match of matchday 10 of Serie A will take place at San Siro. AC Milan will host AS Roma, who lead the standings. Only three points separate them, so both sides will be fighting for a six-point swing.
AC Milan
AC Milan have hit a slight slump. They drew their last two matches, and not against top opposition: Atalanta BC (1:1) and relegation battlers Pisa SC (2:2). The reason is injuries to key players. In the near future the team will be without Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Adrien Rabiot and Pervis Estupiñán — all important rotation options for Massimiliano Allegri.
AS Roma
AS Roma, by contrast, have recorded two wins in a row and are playing very well. We can confidently say that Gian Piero Gasperini’s plan to use Paulo Dybala as a centre-forward has worked perfectly: the Argentine has 2+1 over three matches. In addition, Artem Dovbyk finally ended his goal drought. If he regains his form, the team will receive a significant boost.
AC Milan vs AS Roma Prediction
The run of injuries has significantly affected AC Milan’s plans. They no longer look threatening in attack, and relying only on defence against AS Roma is unlikely to bring success. The visitors should take advantage of this and earn at least a point.
