Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Serie A match.
League leaders Milan welcome bottom-placed Pisa, a side still searching for their first win of the season.
AC Milan
After an unexpected opening defeat to Cremonese (1:2), AC Milan responded in style, recording five wins from their next six league games. The absence of European competition has allowed the team to focus entirely on Serie A, and the results speak for themselves. AC Milan average 1.57 goals per match while conceding just four in total. Although star forward Christian Pulisic (four goals) remains sidelined through injury, Rafael Leão stepped up with a decisive brace in the 2:1 victory over Fiorentina, a result that returned Milan to the top of the table.
Pisa
Pisa have endured a dreadful start, collecting only three points from eight matches (three draws and five defeats). Their attack is the weakest in the division with just three goals scored, and defensively they continue to struggle, conceding ten times and keeping only two clean sheets. The situation is made worse by the absence of Tomás Esteves, Calvin Stengs, and Mateus Lusuardi, all ruled out for the trip to Milan.
AC Milan vs Pisa Prediction
There is little to suggest Pisa can compete here. AC Milan remain compact, confident, and clinical, even without a full-strength line-up. The hosts should control the game from start to finish and find the net at least twice against one of the weakest defences in Serie A.
