Who would have thought that after nine matchdays US Lecce would be three places above ACF Fiorentina in the standings. And it is not about some incredible football from the visitors; Fiorentina are 19th with four points.
ACF Fiorentina
The crisis has already arrived. Fiorentina have not won in nine matchdays. Moreover, they have lost three times in their last four league matches. Yes, the opponents were strong, but that does not diminish the defensive problems. Right now their defence is the worst in Serie A, with 15 goals conceded.
US Lecce
US Lecce are not much better: 14 goals conceded and only one win. However, we would like to praise the bold visitors. In midweek, they fought SSC Napoli until the end (1.17-0.82 in xG) but still lost by the smallest margin (0:1). The experienced Eusebio Di Francesco has built an assertive team who do not fear the giants.
ACF Fiorentina vs US Lecce Prediction
ACF Fiorentina are considered favourites, but it certainly will not be easy, especially given how Napoli struggled. We will take the risk and suggest that the hosts will not end their poor run this time either.
