Aston Villa
In their current form, Aston Villa were a threat even to Liverpool at Anfield, but they could not cope with an injury-hit Liverpool squad and lost 0:2. It was their first defeat after four straight wins and a five-match unbeaten run in the Premier League. Their home winning streak is intact — four matches in all competitions.
Bournemouth
Bournemouth were even second after matchweek nine, but a 1:3 defeat to Manchester City dropped them to fifth. This was an away loss, and the reshaped defense could not handle Erling Haaland, who scored twice. It was their first defeat in four away matches. Before that, Bournemouth had avoided defeat thanks to scoring, from one to three goals.
Aston Villa vs Bournemouth Prediction
Bournemouth have a small advantage over Aston Villa: they did not play in European competitions in midweek. The hosts, although at home, faced Maccabi Tel Aviv. We think this factor will allow the visitors to score again, as they did last time at Villa Park (1:1). Both teams should have chances, so we expect goals from both sides.
