After the 0:4 thrashing in the first leg, Barcelona go into the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final with no margin for error. To go through, they need to beat Atl9ico Madrid by at least four goals. It is a difficult task, but they are not a side that will give up easily.

The home win over Villarreal (4:1) was the perfect warm-up for Barcelona before the second leg against Atl9ico Madrid. Lamine Yamal was especially impressive, scoring the first hat-trick of his career. The hosts will play at home, where they have recorded 16 wins in 17 matches in all competitions; they have scored 17 goals in their last five home games, conceding only twice.
Atletico Madrid
Diego Simeone has approached the second leg in an extremely pragmatic way. In the league match against Real Oviedo (1:0), the coach rotated his squad to keep the core players fresh. In cup and European matches, they are in excellent form: in recent weeks they have thrashed Real Betis (5:0), Barcelona (4:0) and Club Brugge KV (4:1). However, the visitors have little to boast about on trips to Barcelona: only one win in their last six visits, and in December they lost 1:3 there in La Liga.
Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid Prediction
Hansi Flick will set his team up to attack from the first minutes. On their own pitch, the hosts will put serious pressure on Atl9ico Madrid and at least partially compensate for the disaster of the first match. However, against an organised side it is still naive to expect a miracle. We expect a high-scoring match in which the hosts will win.
