Germany beat Northern Ireland (3:1) after having lost the game versus Slovakia (0:2). Germany are currently 3rd in their group. However, Luxembourg have no points so far and it’s unlikely they will be able to be a problem for Germany.
Germany
The beginning of the qualifiers was surprising as Germany lost their first game versus Slovakia. The second match saw Germany beating Northern Ireland, with Wirtz and Gnabry being the starts of the game along with Amiri. They scored a goal each. Germany have won four our of their last seven home games. Only one of them saw them ending a match without scoring a goal. They have conceded over one goal only playing against some top teams like Italy, France and Portugal.
Luxembourg
The beginnig of the campaign wasn’t confident for Luxembourg. They scored only once, conceding four goals in their first two games and scoring only once. Week defensive line is a real problem for Luxembourg. They have conceded at least a goal in seven of their last eight games, including the Nations League matches. Even despite the fact that they played against some weaker opponents than Germany, i.e. Belarus, Bulgaria, and Northern Ireland.
Germany vs Luxembourg Prediction
Germany are highly motivated. Their defeat in the first game makes them be focused now. The home soil and perfect attacking form will destroy Luxembourg. Germany are supposed to beat Germany easily, scoring many goals.
