The clash between the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs is clearly the main game of the night. Both are in the Western Conference top three and do not intend to let a rival move ahead. There will be a real battle in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers come into this game on a four-win streak, all against teams in the top eight. Crucially, Luka Dončić is finally back and immediately made an impact, averaging 36.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and eight assists. Together with Austin Reaves (31.1 points on average), they form one of the most productive backcourt duos and are ready to break down any defence.
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs are entering a very difficult stretch, as several key players have gone to the injury list. The most serious loss is Dylan Harper. The guard averaged 14 points and 3.8 assists, effectively covering for the absence of De'Aaron Fox. Now there is almost no backcourt rotation left, and the same goes for the frontcourt. Jeremy Sochan joins Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk on the injured list.

The Los Angeles Lakers are clear favourites, and with good reason. The depleted visitors could not cope even with the Phoenix Suns (118:130), so they should not expect much success in California.
