The hosts have looked far from their best recently. Since the start of 2026 the team have played 11 matches in all competitions and have won only four of them, and they have already been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and the Coppa Italia. The latter happened just a couple of days ago, when they failed at home against Como 1907 (1:2 on penalties), creating only 0.59 xG. The situation is worsened by an injury to their best player, Scott McTominay (6+3 in the Serie A).
AS Roma
The visitors look much better. In the winter the board signed Donyell Malen, who has completely solved their problems in attack: three goals in four matches. Defensively, they still have by some distance the best defence in the Serie A and concede only 0.58 goals per game. Mile Svilar has been particularly impressive, with a save rate of 83.5%, which is highly impressive.

Bookmakers regard Napoli as favourites, which in our view would be a major mistake. The squad look very average and are barely beating even the outsiders. AS Roma must take advantage of this opportunity and return to the top four.
