Napoli
After a slight slump, Napoli have rediscovered their form. Since switching to a back-three, they have won three matches in a row. That run includes impressive victories over Atalanta BC (3:1) and AS Roma (1:0). David Neres has been the standout performer, scoring three times in these matches, with Rasmus Højlund providing two of the assists and improving from game to game.
Cagliari
Cagliari's last victory came in the Coppa Italia, when on 23 September they managed to defeat Frosinone from Serie B (4:1). Since then, they have played nine matches, losing five of them. Four times Cagliari have left the pitch without scoring a goal, and only twice have they managed to score more than once in a game.

Napoli are the clear favourites for this tie. They are in strong form, play proactive attacking football and are creating and converting plenty of chances. We expect the hosts to win comfortably and, in front of their home crowd, secure a straightforward passage to the quarter-finals.
