Nottingham Forest
In the previous round, Nottingham Forest halted Manchester United’s winning run with a 2:2 home draw. Before that, the team lost 0:2 to Bournemouth, who are competing for the UEFA Champions League. They are also playing in the UEFA Europa League. With Sean Dyche there has been progress — four points from a possible six in the league — but Thursday’s draw should disappoint everyone at the club and in the city. Nottingham Forest dominated in Graz against Sturm Graz yet failed to score (0:0), producing 1.41 xG. Morgan Gibbs-White also missed a penalty.
Leeds United
In round 10, Leeds United meekly lost away to Brighton & Hove Albion (0:3), falling apart in the middle of the second half when they conceded twice in seven minutes. They have sparkled away from home only once since the start of the league, beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3:1, but that is no great feat now. In the other four away matches, Leeds United failed to score even once — not enough even for a draw.
