Adam Williams presents his prediction for the NBA match.
The Golden State Warriors continue their long road trip. After four games in the West they move to the East, where they will face the Orlando Magic, who have found excellent form.
Orlando Magic
In their last four games the Orlando Magic have three wins and an overtime defeat away to a strong Houston Rockets team (113:117). Over this stretch the duo of Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane have been posting outstanding numbers, averaging 47.5 points per game between them. We should also note that the Orlando Magic have started to look excellent on defence as well, allowing 104.8 points per game compared with a season average of 114.
Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors come into this game on a three-game winning streak, two of those victories coming against a strong San Antonio Spurs team, but we still cannot say that everything is fully in order with them. In each of these games the win was secured thanks to an exceptional individual performance from someone in the line-up. While we are used to seeing 40+ point outings from Stephen Curry, the 32 points from Moses Moody were a real surprise and are unlikely to be repeated.
Orlando Magic vs Golden State Warriors Prediction
The Golden State Warriors are regarded as favourites, but we prefer to go against the bookmaker here. The Golden State Warriors cannot keep relying on isolated standout performances for long, so we believe the well-structured Orlando Magic are exactly the team who can end their winning run.
