The opponents have already played their matches of round 14 but still could not displace Preston North End from the play-off places. Even a win will not allow Swansea City to catch them.
Preston North End
Preston North End have won twice in a row after two defeats, scoring at least twice: 3:2 against Sheffield United and 2:0 against Southampton. Few would have believed this at the start of the season. At their home ground, the team have been confident, taking 14 of their 22 points and losing only once. In four of five matches with goals, the hosts achieved victory.
Swansea City
This season it has become easier to score against Swansea City. In 11 matches they have conceded in almost every game: only Southampton somehow failed to beat their goalkeeper despite 3.10 xGA. In those 10 matches, the visitors responded with at least one goal in eight cases. Naturally, over 2.5 prevailed in 6 of 11.
Preston North End vs Swansea City Prediction
Their previous meeting ended 0:0, but we find such a repeat unlikely. In our view, the over 2.5 is more plausible, which occurred in four matches before that. We also like the Double Chance on Preston North End.
