Adam Williams presents his prediction for the NBA match.
In their last game, the Utah Jazz finally ended their losing streak, and did it in style: they routed the Indiana Pacers, putting up an incredible 152 points. However, consolidating that success will be difficult: up next are the formidable Atlanta Hawks, who have three wins in a row.
Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz are rebuilding, so consistent results are unlikely given their major defensive issues. On average, they concede 120.8 points, ranking 24th in the league. That said, the roster includes several top scorers who can catch fire if given space. We mean Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George, averaging 28.3 and 21.5 points respectively.
Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks are gradually waking up. They still lack consistency, but at times we already see the familiar basketball under Quin Snyder. Only yesterday they dismantled the Sacramento Kings (133:100), with seven players scoring 10+ points. A lot of this is down to the return of Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who immediately contributed 14 points and 4 assists in just 21 minutes.
Utah Jazz vs Atlanta Hawks Prediction
We expect a high-scoring shootout. Buoyed by the big win, the Utah Jazz will push forward in search of points, and the Atlanta Hawks should gladly punish mistakes in transition. A wager on the game total looks the most logical option.
