Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Saudi Pro League match.
Al-Nassr remain in the hunt for second place and could even push for the top spot if their main rivals slip up. Following a crucial win over Al-Hilal, they appear to be hitting their stride as the season nears its end. Al-Qadsiah, meanwhile, are going through a rough patch, managing just three points from their last five outings. Nonetheless, the hosts remain a considerable threat going forward and have the potential to trouble their visitors, having already done so in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Al-Qadsiah
The newly promoted side began the campaign strongly, but recent form has shown signs of decline. Over their last six matches, Al-Qadsiah have suffered three defeats and conceded nine goals, despite still boasting the league’s best defensive record with only 24 goals allowed. Their defensive stability could be further undermined by the possible absence of Nacho Fernández. Al-Qadsiah will once again look to the attacking duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Julián Quiñones, who have combined to score 27 of the club’s 39 goals this season.
Al-Nassr
The visitors have recovered from a difficult spell and are currently on a three-match winning streak. The highlight came in a commanding 3:1 victory over last season's champions Al-Hilal. Cristiano Ronaldo continues to lead the line with distinction, topping the scoring charts with 23 goals. However, Al-Nassr still face issues at the back, having conceded in 13 of their last 15 matches. On the road, they have kept only three clean sheets in 13 games.
Al-Qadsiah vs Al-Nassr Prediction
Al-Nassr are in excellent form and highly motivated in their bid for second place. However, Al-Qadsiah have shown resilience throughout the campaign and remain a potent attacking force. Earlier in the season, they managed a 2:1 win over the team. A high-scoring contest seems likely, with both teams expected to find the net.
