Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Saudi Pro League match.
Next week, Al-Qadsiah are set to contest the domestic cup final, while in the league, the squad are guaranteed to finish no higher than third. For a newly promoted side, securing a top-three spot is already a highly respectable accomplishment, and a win over Al-Orobah would help strengthen their position ahead of Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli.
Al-Qadsiah
Across the last five matchdays, Al-Qadsiah have collected 13 points — the best return in the league alongside Al-Hilal — and have conceded only four goals, the strongest defensive record in that span. Last Thursday, the team defeated Al-Wehda (3:1), generating 1.66 xG and recording a 9-2 advantage in shots on target. Since 27 January, Al-Qadsiah have gone unbeaten in ten home matches, winning eight and drawing twice.
Al-Orobah
The end of the campaign could still offer a lifeline to Al-Orobah, who sit two points from safety with two fixtures remaining. They currently have the league’s weakest defensive record, conceding 67 goals in 32 matches. Since 13 March, Al-Orobah have lost three of their four away matches, shipping 14 goals in the process.
Al-Qadsiah vs Al-Orobah Prediction
This season, Al-Qadsiah have already secured convincing leads in both previous encounters with Al-Orobah — a 4:1 win in the King’s Cup and a 2:0 victory in the league. A surprise result on Tuesday appears unlikely, with the favourites expected to solidify their place in the league’s top three.
