Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Saudi Pro League match.
In the final two rounds of the Saudi Pro League season, Al-Hilal have the opportunity to extend their lead over third-placed Al-Qadsiah and potentially reach the 100-goal mark for the campaign — they currently stand at 92. Al-Wehda defence is unlikely to pose a significant challenge for Al-Hilal, and the favourites are expected to create a number of dangerous chances in the final third.
Al-Wehda
While Al-Wehda have been regularly picking up points and remain just above the relegation zone, they have struggled significantly against top-tier sides. Since early April, they have conceded a total of nine goals in defeats to Al-Shabab (1:3), Al-Ahli (2:3), and Al-Qadsiah (1:3). In their most recent outing, the team allowed 1.66 xGA and faced nine shots on target from a top-three opponent.
Al-Hilal
Even following the departure of Jorge Jesus, Al-Hilal have maintained their winning form. The squad recovered swiftly from their Champions League semi-final elimination. Since the beginning of March, the former Saudi champions have scored 12 goals across three consecutive league victories. Last week, the Riyadh-based team defeated Al-Orobah (4:0) and Al-Fateh (4:3). Since 17 April, Aleksandar Mitrovic has delivered six goals and four assists in seven appearances.
Al-Wehda vs Al-Hilal Prediction
In the reverse fixture in Riyadh, Al-Hilal secured a dominant 4:1 victory over Al-Wehda. Given their current form, the visitors are likely to take an early lead, and backing them with a handicap appears to be a reliable betting option.
