Allister Carter
Allister did an unbelievable thing by eliminating Judd Trump (6:5). The dark horse is on board. This is what was expected prior to the start of the Masters. Mark Allister has been demonstrating his best snooker in this period of his career. If he keeps on this way, he can get the trophy he’s been expecting for so long. Now he has to focus on the opponent, a dangerous one, he got his nickname, The Pistol, for what he’s able to do.
Mark Allen
Mark Allen did a marvelous thing, winning his game against Mark Selby in the decisive frame, for sure. He made the maximum break. The second one during this tournament. Despite Allen performing quite poorly against Higgins, he was ready to meet Selby. Allen is still unstable, though. So his mastership and devotions played the role. If Mark keeps on playing in this way, he can get the trophy.

I can't see a favourite in this semi-final. I guess the upper hand will change frame after frame. This is why I’m choosing to bet on frames and on the handicap of Carter. He’s more stable now than Mark Allen so I don’t believe he’s going to lose with a huge gap.
