Moldova should have pulled ahead of the other two teams, but they have yet to shake off Malta. In theory, even Andorra have a chance to take first place and move up a league. For that to happen, they need to defeat Moldova with at least a 3:0 scoreline. Is this achievable?
Andorra
The Andorran side attempted to break their six-match losing streak by scheduling a friendly with one of the weakest teams, San Marino. This strategy worked. They secured a relatively easy win, with the final score of 2:0 being reached by halftime. However, against more formidable challenges, Andorra even lost to Malta (0:1), a team not known for winning.
Moldova
Moldova have been facing similar modest opponents, yet even they managed to lose one match to Malta (0:1). In reality, it was deserved. The Maltese held the advantage throughout the game, and the penalty scored in the 87th minute was a result of that pressure. Besides the goal, Malta had two more real scoring opportunities that they couldn't convert. The Moldovan side didn't manage to get any shots on target, with only one attempt.
Andorra vs Moldova Prediction
Expecting the visitors to lose to even weaker Andorra is unrealistic. Moldova have defeated Andorra in three of their last five encounters. Not once have the Andorra lost by more than a single goal, and achieving the necessary win will not be easy. It's worth betting on a win for the visitors.
