In the Premier League, the Gunners seem to be about to end their fight for the title. Everything started to fall apart after a 1:1 draw in the game against Liverpool on December 23. In the last two games of the year Arsenal didn’t manage to take a point. They were defeated by West Ham (0:2) and Fulham (1:2). The Gunners are currently 4th, 5 points behind the leader.
Liverpool are the ones who top the table of the Premier League. The Reds beat Burnley (2:0) and Newcastle United (4:2). Now Liverpool are three points ahead of Aston Villa and five points ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal. To be honest, the Reds have quite a complicated schedule, as they’re not eliminated from the EFL Cup yet. They will have two games against Fulham soon.

The only thing I’m sure about is that this game will be serious for them. Liverpool are exactly those who started the stripe of the Gunners.
I believe that Liverpool will do their best to win the Premier League title. It means that they won’t be that careful in the cup games they have ahead. However, I’m sure that they won’t let the Gunners win easily. I think we will see many goals in this game.
