Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the English Premier League match.
Arsenal
Arsenal didn’t manage to beat Manchester City in an away game (0:0). The Gunners only had 28% of ball possession. However, they created 0.70 xG, which is pretty much the same as Manchester City managed to create (1.01). This draw ended the Gunners’ 8-games winning run, which started in January. Arsenal have 35 points in the 14 games played at their stadium. Only Liverpool have more (39), having played one home game more than the Gunners.
Luton Town
Luton Town are back in the relegation zone after losing their game against Tottenham (1:2). The Hatters are levelled on points with Nottingham Forest, losing on tie-breakers. Luton Town have conceded 62 goals in 30 games. Only Burnley (65) and Sheffield United (77) have conceded more. In the away games, the Hatters have 10 points in 15 games, with only Sheffield united having less.
Arsenal – Luton Town prediction
In December, Luton Town were a problem for Arsenal, leading in the 57th minute (3:2). However, the goals scored by Havertz and Rice helped Arsenal win (4:3). In London, Arsenal will try to improve this result, leaving no chance to Luton Town.
