Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the UEFA Champions League match.
Bayern Munich
Despite Bayer Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga this season, Bayern Munich has been scoring and taking points in April. Last Saturday saw them beating Eintracht Frankfurt (2:1) with 3.82 xG in 90 minutes. Harry Kane scored his 35th goal in the 31st league game he played, the fastest result in Bundesliga history. The Bayern’s head coach claims that someone of the three, Gnabry, Sané or Coman, will be recovered from an injury. Only Sané played the last Champions League game versus Arsenal.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid are about to become the Spanish champions. Their 4th to do so in the top 5 leagues after Bayer, Inter and PSG. Pretty reserve squad played in the game versus Real Sociedad (1:0), with Bellingham, Kroos and Lunin being on the bench. Vini Junior has been performing well in April (1+3 in the 5 games played in April) and Rodrygo (4 goals after the international break). Carvajal will miss the game, which will affect the defensive line.
Bayern Munich – Real Madrid prediction
Both sides can play offensive football, scoring goals even in important games. Bayern have scored 13 goals in the last 5 home games. Real Madrid haven’t lost their 9 consecutive away games. It’s going to be an exciting match.
