Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund have the best defensive line in group F on paper only. However, it’s just the opposite. The German side has allowed their opponents to create 7,8 xG in the previous five games, conceding only three goals, though. PSG were way better in the first game (2:0), creating 1,7 xG more. Borussia plays pretty badly in defence, even in the German Bundesliga (xGA = 1,79).
PSG
This is the last chance to save this season for PSG, as winning the Champions League title is the priority for the team. PSG are in the best form now. In the previous Champions League game versus Newcastle, the French side created 4,4 xG. They never used this advantage, though. A round before, PSG didn’t deserve to suffer defeat from Milan (1:2) in the case of xG (1,5 : 1,4).
Borussia Dortmund – PSG prediction
Ousmane Dembélé will miss this game due to disqualification. This is a great problem for PSG’s offensive actions. There’s another important thing. Borussia will have some problems as Emre Can will miss this game too. The French side will have advantage in the middle of the pitch as Zaïre-Emery is back.
PSG will lead the game, and they deserve to win.
