Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the English Premier League match.
Brentford have maintained 11th place in the standings for seven consecutive rounds, while Everton are at their highest position of the season in 14th. Both teams have an opportunity to climb the table with a win in this Premier League match.
Brentford
Despite two consecutive wins and three victories in their last four matches, Brentford remain in mid-table. All these recent successes have been achieved away from home. Once strong on their own ground, they have now gone six matches without a home win, including an FA Cup fixture. Their only draw during this period—a 92nd-minute equaliser against Manchester City—was an exception.
Everton
Everton’s transformation under David Moyes is evident. Since their sole defeat to Aston Villa in his debut match, they have gone unbeaten in six consecutive Premier League fixtures, recording four wins and two draws. The January transfer window was a quiet one, with the only significant addition being Argentine midfielder Carlos Alcaraz. He contributed a goal and an assist in Everton’s away win against Crystal Palace. Their recent draw against Manchester United was disappointing, as Manchester United created little danger until they equalised between the 72nd and 80th minutes.
Brentford vs Everton Prediction
Brentford’s key attacking players—Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, and Kevin Schade—are all available, yet their home form continues to be elusive. David Moyes has managed to achieve near-maximum performance levels from his teams, and we believe this will help Everton once again.
