At home, the team have earned 39 points from 20 fixtures, ranking fifth in the standings, and have won four of their last five matches. In the clash with Watford, Bristol City opened up a comfortable two-goal lead by half-time, converting two shots on target into 0.35 xG – a testament to their clinical finishing.
West Bromwich Albion
A surprising downturn has put West Bromwich Albion’s play-off hopes under pressure. Since claiming a 1:0 win over Queens Park Rangers a month ago, the team have picked up just two points from a possible 12 in the Championship. On Saturday, they dominated in xG against Sunderland (1.73-0.23 in xG) but failed to find the net in a 0:1 defeat. On the road, West Bromwich Albion are without a win in 13 successive matches, including six defeats.
