Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Miami ATP match.
Cameron Norrie is gradually regaining form after a poor start to the season. The Brit struggled at the Challenger event in Cap Cana but showed quality tennis in Indian Wells, particularly on return. Meanwhile, Bu Yunchaokete has difficulty against strong opponents, making it tough for him to progress to the second round.
Bu Yunchaokete
The Chinese player has lost nine of his 13 matches in 2025. At the recent Indian Wells tournament, Bu defeated Nishesh Basavareddy (7:5, 6:4) but was comprehensively beaten by Daniil Medvedev in the second round (2:6, 2:6). Apart from the Russian, Yunchaokete has also lost to Taylor Fritz, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Alexander Zverev, failing to take a set in any of those matches.
Cameron Norrie
The Brit put in a strong performance at Indian Wells, reaching the third round. Norrie dismantled Luca Nardi (6:0, 6:3) and overcame world No. 27 Jiri Lehecka (3:6, 6:4, 7:5). However, he then suffered a surprising elimination in the Dominican Republic, losing to world No. 171 Constant Lestienne (4:6, 5:7). Norrie has played lengthy matches this season—11 of his 13 encounters have featured at least 20 games.
Bu Yunchaokete vs Cameron Norrie Prediction
Norrie knows how to handle inconsistent players, but he is still finding his rhythm, and Bu Yunchaokete will try to put up a fight. Therefore, we are backing the over 20.5 games total bet.
