The Buffalo Sabres' season has been challenging, with their focus primarily on developing young players and aiming for a high draft pick.

The Flames have won four of their last six matches. In their clash against the Winnipeg Jets (3:1), they demonstrated a high level of efficiency despite trailing significantly in shot count (22-39). Over their last six games, the Jets scored 14 goals. Their average scoring rate is only 2.67 goals per game (31st in the league, above only the Anaheim Ducks). However, the goaltenders, Dustin Wolf and Daniel Vladař, have shone during this period, conceding just 12 goals (an average of two per game). It’s worth noting that home matches have tended to remain low-scoring, with more than six goals scored in only two of the last 11 games.
Buffalo Sabres
