Canada
Canada shows what was expected. Except for RJ Barrett, who starts to play better and usually scores 23+ points per game. The bookmakers favours Canada by a big margin (9.5 points) against Spain, which is a little surprising. At the last World Cup with the strongest lineups, the Canadians won by only one possession (88:85).
Spain
Spain’s zone defence worked great against Greece. Coach Sergio Scariolo also has a dominant center, Santi Aldama, who is playing well on both ends of the court. He even grabbed 12 rebounds against Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Canada - Spain Prediction
The Canadian side has already completed their key mission prior to the last game. If they beat Spain, they can top the group. Spain, on the other hand, can finish fourth if they are beaten by Canada and Greek side beats Australia by 3-16 points.
Spain focuses on ball possession and they don't turn it over much. I don't think Canada will score as many points on fast breaks against Spain as they did against Australia.
