Another game played on Friday as a finalist of the Europa League is to participate. The Chelsea vs Manchester United game is supposed to be interesting. Hopefully, the sides will do their best for this to become true.
Chelsea
Chelsea don’t care about the name of their opponents. They need to qualify for the Champions League. But Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest crave for the same. Chelsea lost their key match versus Newcastle United. It’s hard to win a game at Saint James Park, although Chelsea were trying their best, despite Nicholas Jackson being sent off in the 36th minute. What will Chelsea do without him? We remember how hard it was, with Pedro Neto and Tyrique George instead of Jackson. The result was poor, though. Maybe Christopher Nkunku? Well, not the best option either. There is an option remaining. Chelsea have scored 11 out of their 62 goals with the help of corner kicks and free kicks. Not much, less than 18%, but it’s still an option.
Manchester United
Manchester United have been suffering in their attacking actions too. Well, except for the Europa League semi-finals. The circumstances were convenient against Athletic Club, though. Seven goals scored in two games prove it well. However, it’s not the case with the other tournaments. The Round 36 game of the Premier League versus West Ham wasn’t perfect. Manchester United had 2.23 xG with 4 goal attempts and 20 shots. To no avail. The Hammers scored with only 4 shots on target.
Chelsea vs Manchester United Prediction
Chelsea have problems in the attacking actions. Manchester United have problems in general. At least in the Premier League. This is why the sides are unlikely to score more than three goals. The first game of the season between these two teams ended in a draw (1:1)
