The Columbus Blue Jackets return home following a disappointing road trip, but on their own ice, they have been a dominant force. Meanwhile, the Vegas Golden Knights remain near the top of the standings but are struggling defensively and have been poor away from home.

Defensive struggles have plagued the Golden Knights in recent games. Their away form has been a significant issue, with eight defeats in their last 11 road outings while conceding an average of 3.4 goals per game.
