Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Xi'an Grand Prix snooker match.
Daniel Wells
Daniel Wells played two tough matches in Xi'an and I don't see any reason for this streak to stop. Wells beat Julien Leclercq 5:3 and Sunny Akani 5:4. And in the qualifiers, Wells beat Ali Carter 5:4. Daniel's matches are tough, he has to fight for frames. Wells lost the other two qualifiers, so he is taking this tournament very seriously, as he can earn ranking points here.
Dominic Dale
Dominic Dale completely unexpectedly beat Shaun Murphy 5:2, and Shaun was in very good form, but it was Dale who went through. Before that, Dominic beat Noppon Saengkham 5:3. We might not have seen these victories, because Dale beat Mohammed Mustafa Shehab in the qualifiers only in the deciding frame 5:4. Dale is in the same position as Wells, Dominic lost other qualification matches and now has to fight for ranking points in Xi'an.
Daniel Wells - Dominic Dale Prediction
The tense of the match and the high stakes should affect the breaks and the score. I predict that the match can end with a score of 5:3 or 5:4 in any way. I suggest betting not on the winner, but on the total of frames.
