Dayana Yastremska
She has lost only one set in her five games of the top half. It happened in the game against Navarro in the third round. She also beat Nosková (2-0) and Victoria Azarenka (2-0). Yastremska made 76% of the 1st serve win and 54% of the 2nd serve win. However, the game ended with the negative balance of winners and unforced errors (19-23). Dayana has been performing very well for sure, but she doesn’t seem to be invincible.
Zheng Qinwen
The tournament is definitely harder for the Chinese player. She’s already lost three sets. The quarter-final game against Anna Kalinskaya was a tough one, too. Zheng Qinwen lost the first set on tie-break. However, she was flawless after it. She won without break points. Zheng seems to be a better player, but Yastremska is really good now. It’s not going to be an easy walk for the Chinese player.

Despite being an underdog, Yastremska beat Linda Nosková in the quarter-finals (2-0), losing only 7 games. Yastremska and Zheng have never played against each other. Their first game can be a long one. Both players have been too well in this tournament.
