Adam Williams presents his prediction for the NBA match.
While the Detroit Pistons took time to rest and prepare, the Denver Nuggets engaged in a real thriller against the Cleveland Cavaliers, ultimately losing 135:149. Will the Pistons capitalise on the hosts' fatigue and extend their winning streak to four games?
Denver Nuggets
Yesterday, we witnessed another superb performance by Nikola Jokic, who posted 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists. Jamal Murray provided significant support, also scoring 27 points. However, it wasn't enough for victory. The Denver Nuggets' defence seemingly failed to show up on the court. The Cavaliers took advantage as they wished, hitting 47.9% from beyond the arc and making 31 of 48 shots from inside the paint. This game vividly illustrated that no matter how bright the Nuggets play offensively, chaos reigns under their basket.
Detroit Pistons
Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons continue to gain momentum. Led by Cade Cunningham, they have won all three games of their road trip. Cade himself is in excellent form, averaging 25.7 points and 11.2 assists over the last 10 games. On defence, Jalen Duren has been impressive, averaging 9.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in just 25 minutes on the court. Evaluating the Pistons' team play shows tremendous progress in their offence. Over the last five games, they have averaged 121.8 points.
Denver Nuggets vs Detroit Pistons Prediction
The Denver Nuggets came off an exhausting match, which clearly benefits the visitors. Given their current form, we are confident that they will pose significant challenges to the Nuggets' defence.
