The most intriguing series of this stage. Currently, the Thunder leads 3-2. However, the next game will be hosted by Denver and the Nuggets will do their best to win.
Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets have chosen the fast attacking tactics against the Thunder’s defense, having 97 throws in the fifth game. However, only 28.3% of 3-point throws and 41.2% of the others were accurate. Nikola Jokić was perfect, though. He had 44 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Jamal Murray added his 28 points. Don’t forget that these two won the NBA title two seasons ago, so they’re experienced in the play-offs.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The side has only one leader. And he’s quite unstable. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander can score 31 points… or 18. The worst part is that he has no support. Chet Holmgren usually scored only 15.7 points, and Caruso only 9. Rebounds are not the best part for the Thunder either. The last game saw the Nuggets having 49 rebounds, while the Thunder had 43, with 16 of them being in the attacking actions. That made the game easier for the Nuggets.
Denver Nuggets vs Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction
The Nuggets made a lot of throws in the last game but failed to score many of them. However, they have a good chance to win playing in Denver. You should never underestimate Jokić.
