Ding Junhui
Tom Ford wasn’t a problem for the Chinese player in the previous round. Ding Junhui won 6-3. It seemed in the beginning that Ford would be a good rival, but then it became clear that Tom Ford would fail to proceed playing like that. Ding have become much better after losing in the champions tournament in the game versus John Higgins (1-6). The Chinese player hasn’t lost a match since that moment. Even Mark Allen suffered defeat in the first round. Ding Junhui doesn’t seem to be a bright player, but he’s a very serious rival.
Mark Williams
Mark William beat Jamie Clarke (6-4) in the previous round. Mark could have ended the game earlier, but it was clear that he was enjoying the process and the fans' support. Mark is supposed to recover his stability and bounce back for the lost tournaments in autumn. The quality of his playing isn’t the best. However, I believe that he’s one of the contenders to win the title.
Ding Junhui – Mark Williams prediction
These players have had many head-to-head games, with Mark Williams winning the last two of them. However, it’s not going to be an easy walk for the Welsh player. When Mark faces a strong opponent, and Ding Junhui is one of them for sure, the Welsh is focused well.
