Dundee United and Motherwell are both vying for a place in European competitions. A win for either team would strengthen their position and earn them valuable points. Both teams aim to score in every match but also concede regularly, which could lead to a goal-filled encounter.
Dundee United
Recently promoted to the top division, Dundee United are performing admirably for newcomers, currently sitting in fourth place. The team boast strong home form, averaging 1.75 goals per match, and have scored in three of their last four home games, the exception being a narrow defeat to Rangers (0:1). Dundee United's record against Motherwell is also promising, having scored at least once in five of their last six meetings.
Motherwell
Motherwell are right behind Dundee United in fifth place and demonstrate good offensive output away from home, averaging around 1.5 goals per game. Their last six matches have all finished with a total over 2.5, indicating their tendency towards high-scoring encounters. However, their defence leaves much to be desired, as they have conceded in eight consecutive games.

Given the high-scoring nature of both clubs and their fierce competition for a European spot, betting on both teams to score seems the most justified.
