Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the UEFA Champions League match.
Dynamo Kyiv
Dynamo played brightly in their pre-season games, scoring a lot of goals (14 in their 5 matches). They did well against Partizan too. Even after winning the first leg, Dynamo never stopped and brought their opponent down in Belgrade. Surprisingly, the only player who scored in both games was a defender, Karavayev. Good attacking line allows the side to choose various options, and their opponents never know who is going to be a real threat.
Rangers
Last weekend saw Rangers starting the new season of the Scottish Premiership. They failed to beat Hearts (0:0). Rangers had an advantage, possessing the ball (66% vs 34%). However, Hearts played too defensively, which was a problem for their opponents. This is not what’s going to happen in the match versus Dynamo. Besides, at least 3 goals were scored in 3 out of the 4 pre-season friendly games that Rangers played. Their match against Union Berlin is the key prove (4:4) that we can see many goals scored.
Dynamo Kyiv - Rangers Prediction
Both sides will do their best to score. The Ukrainian side won’t like it if they have to decide everything in Scotland. Going to Glasgow demands having at least a slight advantage after the first leg.
