Both the defenders and the goalkeeper made errors, which is why Eintracht Frankfurt posted only 1.21 xG. After a weak Bundesliga outing against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (1:3), the team have recovered their position in the standings.
Union Berlin
Last season, Union Berlin finished exactly where their squad valuation ranked them—13th. At present their position in the standings is the same—14th. Their only win came at home against VfB Stuttgart (2:1). In that game the squad produced only 0.34 xG, because one of the goals by new signing Ilyas Ansa came out of nowhere — an unstoppable strike that hit the woodwork.
