Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the German Bundesliga match.
Eintracht
The side has lost 3 consecutive games. This is their longest lose-streak this season. It was understandable in the case of Stuttgart (1:2). However, their home defeat by PAOK (1:2) and away one by Augsburg (1:2) are much harder to explain. Before these games, Eintracht performed poorly in defence in the match versus Werder (2:2). In each of these games, Eintracht’s opponents had at least 1,5 xG.
Bayern
Bayern will top the Bundesliga table if they win this game. This is a perfect motivation for them. It’s unlikely that the German top team will miss such a chance. They’re leaders of the league in xG (=3) and xGA (0,71). They can hardly see any opposition. Bayern had at least a 2-goal lead in 8 out of their 14 league games.
Eintracht – Bayern prediction
Ellyes Skhiri, a key player of Eintracht, will miss this game. He is the one who has been building the game of the side. He’s the leader in passes ahead (52) and he’s second in the sum of tackles and rebounds (23+17). I can hardly imagine that Eintracht will manage to endure Bayern's pace without Skhiri.
The favourite is supposed to win this game.
